Krista first developed a passion for physical therapy when working as a physical therapy aide in Santa Monica, where she enjoyed helping patients return to their recreational activities. Since then, she has focused her career in the outpatient orthopedic setting, where she utilizes her expertise in manual therapy to enhance patients’ movement. Additionally, Krista has specialized training in vestibular rehabilitation and post-concussion management.

Experience

Krista completed her undergraduate studies at UCLA where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology. Post-graduation, she attended San Diego State University where she received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Krista has additional certifications in vestibular rehabilitation, myofascial decompression, evaluation and treatment of the cervical, lumbar, elbow, and ankle complexes and continuing education in trigger point release, Mulligan mobilization with movement, and spinal manipulation.

Interests

Krista lives in Tierrasanta with her husband and her labrador Stewie. In her free time, Krista enjoys hiking, traveling the world, and trying out new restaurants around San Diego.
