Proper alignment and body mechanics are the foundation of a healthy body. When we continually repeat a motion or stress, those areas may become painful, tight, or restricted. Repetitive stress from a repeated movement and lack of postural and ergonomic awareness can affect the arm, neck, shoulders, elbows, hands, or fingers.
The good news is that you can reverse habits that are causing your pain. Improving ergonomics and posture can help prevent future repetitive stress injuries and restore proper alignment and function.
