Tara specializes in manual therapy with an emphasis in quality of care, individualized experience, compassion, and optimizing outcomes. Each patient is unique, and Tara is able to acknowledge that each treatment and diagnoses is unique to each person.
Each patient is unique and I hope to tailor each treatment to the specific person, this is ultimately what helps patients reach their goals.
Tara graduated with a doctor of physical therapy degree from New York Medical College in 2008. Her undergraduate degree focus was also in Exercise and Movement Science. Over the years of practice she has taken many continuing education courses to further her manual skills, and fine tune her techniques in the orthopedic, sports injury population. In addition, she also has experience working with vestibular dysfunction, and prenatal/post partum women.
Tara enjoys running, spending time with her husband and son, skiing and snowboarding. She frequently explores the trails of the Marin headlands with her family and has a passion for traveling and enjoying the fabulous city of San Francisco! Recently, Tara and her husband have been experimenting with brewing small batches of artisanal beer in their home.
