Kylee believes that practicing mindfulness in our daily activities and paying attention to the way we move is key to understanding pain and preventing movement dysfunction. She specializes in listening, observing and promoting self-awareness to improve faulty movement mechanics. Kylee combines her knowledge of therapeutic exercise with skilled manual therapy and postural re-training to achieve optimum results. She is passionate about empowering others with the necessary knowledge to aid in their recovery process and return to activity.
Movement is powerful medicine
Kylee holds an Associate of Science degree from Gurnick Medical Academy in the Physical Therapist Assistant program. In 2010 she became a certified Pilates instructor through the Pilates Sports Center and has completed advanced training in Pilates for runners, women’s wellness including pre-natal and postpartum. In 2012 she completed the Gyrotonics level 1 teacher training program and aspires to complete the certification in the future.
In her free time, Kylee loves to check out the Bay Area food scene as well as experimenting with her own cooking projects. On the weekends she enjoys taking a yoga, pilates or Showga class. She works out regularly at the gym, takles long walks on the beach and spends countess hours reading or studying at her favorite coffee shop.
