Learn how to exercise gradually and safely with your new mommy body among other women who are experiencing similar symptoms. We provide a safe and candid environment to help you learn specific exercises to restore function and strength during post partum.
Vagina Bootcamp is the only class dedicated to the post partum mom and pelvic floor rehab. Among all the classes you may have taken during your pregnancy journey this is the only class dedicated to rehabbing the new “mom body”.
Many women may experience urinary incontinence, pelvic pain, weakness in the abdominals (diastasis recti), and/or symptoms of prolapse (herniation of reproductive organs). Regardless of if you had a c-section or vaginal delivery the information presented in this workshop will be relevant to a successful and safe recovery.
This class will help you identify the correct core muscles and progress through specific exercises to return to your prebaby body. Learn the do’s and don’ts for a healthy pelvic floor, good bladder habits, and improve your return to your activity successfully.
Imee Harsuvanakit, DPT is a Women’s Health Physical Therapist who combines her knowledge of orthopedic rehab with her specialty in pelvic health to help the recovering post partum body.
In this workshop you will learn:
- The anatomy of the abdominals and pelvic floor
- How to properly identify your core
- How to properly engage your core to ensure a healthy return of your abdominal muscles
- An exercise program to start strengthening post partum
- Techniques to help with urge and stress incontinence
- Steps to help you get rid of the “mommy tummy”
