Frequently Asked Questions
The therapist will give you a comprehensive evaluation to determine what is causing your pain. We’ll explain what the best course of treatment is, and what exercises and techniques you can put into action to resolve it. We’ll create a treatment plan with you that determines how often you should come in for treatment, as well as a full home exercise program to take with you. We want you to know that your healing process is deeply dependent on your dedication and effort, and your work on the home program has everything to do with how fast you rehabilitate.
The entire evaluation will take about an hour. You can expect following visits to be a little shorter – about 45 minutes or so.
You’ll also need loose-fitting clothing, such as shorts or pants with an elastic waistband. We ask our female patients to wear or bring a tank top or a sports top so that we can easily access the area being treated.
You can wear these clothes to your appointment or bring them with you – you’re welcome to change at the clinic if that’s most convenient to you.
If your insurance does not cover physical therapy, requires a deductible, or includes a coinsurance payment, the full remaining balance will be due at the time of your appointment. Please do check our Insurance and Payment page for our full policies, or contact us directly with questions.
If you don’t have insurance or need to pay a copayment, coinsurance payment, or deductible, you can pay us directly by cash, check, or credit card. All fees are due at the time services are rendered.
If you choose to forego insurance and pay out of pocket, you’ll receive a 20% discount as our thanks.

We’re always happy to send a treatment plan and up-to-date status reports to your physician throughout your treatment, regardless of whether he or she referred you to us.
